Hello Everyone,
We will be heading for Chicago this coming Saturday, leaving at 9:00 a.m. We are trying to get back earlier in the afternoon, 4:00 is our target.
We are still in need of more hats, scarves, blankets, coats, and gloves. We will take anything heavy that will keep them warm. We greatly thank those of you that have given for this trip!!
Anyone interested in making the trip with us, please call ASAP so that we can making vehicle arrangements. I need to put more action toward getting our 15 passenger van and cargo trailer. I can see it now, a white van with all of our RAVEN logo painted on the sides!!!!! We have been very busy lately and it seems like there just is not enough time to get everything done. We know that everything will work out!
We also ask that you consider helping us out financially. Also, if anyone is interested in sponsoring a person to minister to the lost on the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras please contact me. Right now we are looking at approximately 150 RAVENS to be on the streets. We have people that are prepared to go and reach the lost but finances are standing in the way. We want to get to the point financially in our ministry that this will never be a problem. I have had the same situation in the past but the Lord has always made a way.
