South Michigan Street in South Bend is an area that is desparately in need of the Word of God. We ran across prostitutes, pimps, drug addicts, perverts, strippers, you name it and it is there. The devil is working overtime there. The above sign is the only mention of
JESUS that you see in the area we covered tonight. Bob told us of how the people are getting delivered and set free at New Life.
PRAISE GOD!!!! We even got to meet three of South Bend's finest, police officers that is. We were in a dark parking lot and I split off to talk to a guy and the rest of the group were doing there thing. This gave a police officer the idea that we were all going in different directions to avoid him. So in a very short period there were three squad cars out on us. I walked up to one of the cars and introduced myself, Eileen did the same. We told them what we were up to and that we were on their side. They were nice to us and warned us that we were in a very bad part of town and I told the officer that we have been in worse areas and this is just what we do. I told him that they would be seeing alot of us and he thanked us for what we are doing.
The Crossing (above) is right across the street from Peaches (below with Street Preacher Anthony LeBlanc standing by the sign) and also The Torch. These are strip tease bars and we were able to meet and talk with the manager of the places, Bobby. Some very interesting things were discussed and I think the Lord is really up to something with the realtionship between the two. That is all I will say for now.

The night was awesome and we look forward to going back!! We planted a number of seeds tonight. Tomorrow we go back to start tending to those seeds!! No magic prayers, we are building relationships so that they hunger to know the
JESUS that we know!! It is 1:30 a.m. and we have to be there at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow to set up !! Hope to see you tomorrow!! Saturday starting @ 11:00 a.m.
