Raven Evangelists: Thomas Derrick & Terry Shuff in ChicagoWe experienced another awesome outreach today! Again, each week we hear about one of our people having health challenges. Please pray for Don, he had a heart attack earlier in the week. "Too Tall" Jerry who caught himself on fire a couple weeks ago is believed to be in a nursing home, please also pray for recovery for him.
Our first location has dwindled to about five people now. Many have gone back home to live and others are getting the help they need.
Today, we went down into Lower Wacker Dr. and found many people sleeping on the sidewalks. We had sandwiches, cookies, and pop today for them and we ran out of food too early. I told them that we would have hot food again on the 28th of this month (our next trip into the city). We met many new people and prayed with many for their lives to get back on track and to live the life that Jesus would want for them.
We are in desparate need of sleeping bags, blankets, coats, gloves, scarves, and hats for our next outreach. Please help us to help them!!!!

These people are precious children of God and we believe that they will be set free of what is keeping them in their present situation. We know they will because we have already seen it many times!!! We can not give up on them! If it was one of your love ones down there wouldn't you want someone to go and help them? I know that many of you have already helped and that is a blessing.
We had four of us out there today (Al & Sara Jones, Michele Ware, and I). We need helping hands also for our next trip!! I will not ask you to pray about whether you should help or not because I know that God is not going to tell you not to help us!!!!
Many of you most likely did not need to hear what I am saying but I am tired of seeing "the church" sit on their padded pews and not do a thing to help those who are less fortunate and even more those who are headed for eternal hell. They go to church with the attitude of "what are you going to do for me today" or they are thinking about traveling across the country to another conference.

"The church" needs to wake up and start seeing it like Jesus saw it and then do it like Jesus did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
