Our Christmas Outreach in Chicago to the homeless will be next Saturday the 16th. We follow this outreach with our Christmas Outreach to the homeless in South Bend next Saturday the 23rd. We are still in need of large size coats, sleeping bags, hats, gloves, socks, etc. I know that this is a busy time of the year for some but as I have said before, these people on the streets mean alot to someone. This is someones mom and dad, someones grandma or grandpa, someones brother or sister, someones husband or wife. Someone is praying for these people and you can be an answer to that prayer!! These people mean alot to us and even so much more they mean so much to our Jesus. These are the least of them that Jesus talks about in:
Matthew 25:40 - The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for Me".
Please hook up with us in reaching these people for Jesus and helping them to get some of the enjoyment that so many of us get at this time of the year.
We could use your financial help for this also, this is also the time of the year that giving to ministries really slows down. We have a large group of people going next Saturday which is awesome but that also increases the cost of going.
