It was a very busy kitchen all day!!

We had an awesome time today in South Bend @ The Crossing School where we invited the neighborhood in for a Christmas Dinner and free gifts to take home and give to their families. We thank Rob Staley and the staff @ The Crossing/South Bend for opening up the building to us. Thank you to Dallas & Karen from God's Closet for helping with the gifts. Thank you to Shannon Thompson and Amy Romersburger for preparing a bunch of gifts. Their husbands Jeremy and Conan were a huge help also today. Kim Dubash and JimmIE Hickman provided a huge amount of help as usual!! It was also great to have Tommy Ward out with us today, he and Conan handled the gift room much of the day. Thanks to the whole team for being such a blessing to God's people today!!

It was such a blessing to see the peoples faces as we told them that we wanted them to just go through and pick out items that their kids would like for Christmas. We also supplied wrapping paper to those who needed it. We fed them a meal consisting of 35 lbs. of fried chicken, 20 lbs. of ham, 30 lbs. of mashed potatoes, sweet corn, collard & mustard greens, biscuits, and many deserts. It was such a blessing to see God's people happy and blessed!!!
There is no better way to spend Christmas than "seeing it the way HE saw it......and doing it the way HE did it!!
God Bless You All and Merry CHRISTmas!!!
