We had a great time with her. She calls Eileen "Momma Ei". When I arrived at SPA to pick her up she said that she missed her and the dogs. I took her to WalMart this afternoon and equipped her to get back on the streets. We got her new winter boots, a pair of shoes, socks, nice stocking cap, sleeping bag, long johns, a purse, a radio, and a suitcase on wheels. She was overjoyed!!! We just wanted to show her the love of Jesus as she spent time in our home.
We had talked to her Saturday night about Jesus and she said that she was not ready to commit her life. It was hard to deal with a decision to give up a bed and warmth along with everything else. We told her while waiting for the bus that what bothered us was her walking the streets of Chicago unsaved. We talked to her again about spending eternity in hell and she said that she didn't want to go to hell and that it was time for her to start living for JESUS!!! It was a huge blessing for Eileen and I to pray for her to accept the LORD!!! By now she is back in Chicago and she said that she can't wait until December 2nd when we come to her home. We miss her and can't wait to see her again.
