Tuesday at Elkhart Juvenile was incredible. 15 young men came to the meeting.
I ministered to them on the importance of really walking with the Lord. Some of what I shared was how we don’t know when our lives will end and this is the side of eternity to “get our relationship right with the Lord”. I spoke out of Matthew 7. The Narrow road and how Jesus will say to many on Judgement Day “I knew you not” ...”away from me”.
Tt got real quite and the Holy Spirit was ministering powerfully. One young man I’m thinking of right now, was squirming in his seat while he kept rubbing his hands together. (I think that’s called conviction) I was able to pray with him at the end of the meeting and invited him to my church to hook up with the our youth group I pray he comes. We all prayed at the end of the meeting calling out to God for forgiveness and to know Him. It was a great night!!

Then last night (Wed) Bro Ray Bean and I went to the Elkhart County Jail for “in-cell ministry”
The jail here in Elkhart allows ministers to go directly in the jail cells to do ministry. It was an awesome night!! For all you street ministers this is exactly like out on the streets only these guys cant walk away. You literally have a captive audience. Most all the guys want prayer and are desiring forgiveness. Its awesome ministry.
The jail is so over-crowded that they fill the gym up with inmates. Now the gym is huge and they had it packed with guys. The gym is where they put the guys that just get busted and are waiting to be put in a cell in the upper part of the jail. I’d say 100 guys at least were stuffed in the gym. When we walked in it was kind of hostile and tempers were high.
The living conditions in this gym are nasty and a lot of these guys have been in their a couple of weeks, waiting for a cell to open up. Any way, we jumped right in and started talking to guys and giving them Gospel of John booklets and ministering to them. These guys were eager to talk and wanting prayer and anything we had to give them to read. We probably could have stayed in their all night. The whole atmosphere of the place changed as the Holy Spirit was ministering to lives. Guys were weeping and calling out to God. Praise God!!
