AWESOME WEEK COMING UP!!!

This week will be awesome as we hit South Michigan Street in South Bend, IN. This is an area that is very low income with bars and strip joints. Something that excites me is that I am going into an area that I use to come into to party before I was born again. I know that the old man is dead that did those things but I still can not believe that I would tell Eileen that I was going with the guys to strip tease joints??? What messed up thinking!! I am excited though that I can tell them that I once frequented these places but what JESUS did for me when he set me free from that perversion and adultery. I never had contact with one of those women but I did look at them with lustful thoughts and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 states that no adulterer will see the Kingdom of Heaven. I was on my way straight to HELL!! Thank you Jesus for rescuing me from that FIRE!!! Help us to snatch others from that fire Friday night!!!

We would sure like to see a strong team hitting the streets Friday Night!! We will be meeting at our house 1121 Bay St. in Elkhart @ 8:00 to head over to South Bend. Come join us for an awesome time in serving our LORD JESUS!!!

Saturday 9/16 - South Bend Outreach - South Michigan St. & Milton right in front of The Crossing Alternative School (11a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Saturday 9/23 - We are hooking up with Pastors Frank & Lori King on N. 2nd St. for a block party entitled "Fighting The Good Fight".

Friday 9/29 - Sunday 10/1 - I need to know who is going to "The Jungle" in Pennsylvania with us?? We will be going to a place on Friday night that is the heroin capital of the United States. Their high school is refered to as "Heroin High". This is the area that Jared Marcus (South Bend teacher @ The Crossing) came from and he has overcome 6 years of rough life there. He is a possibility for the trip and is praying over whether to go back or not. Please keep Jared in your prayers, I would love to have him along but I want it to be the Lord's idea and not mine. We also need Rob's permission for a day off of school for Jared if he decides and Dave Andresen (Elkhart teacher at The Crossing) also. Dave's going if Rob ok's it.
