February 11th Chicago Outreach

Hello everyone,

First off, we would like to thank those of you that have stepped up to help make the vision I received come true. For those of you that don't know, after the last outreach in Chicago I woke up around four in the morning with a vision.
What came to me first is that we would no longer feed the people the way that we have been feeding them. I was able to see the people seated at a long table being served their meal.
I saw plates and silverware, table clothes, and people being served the way "Jesus would serve them". My flesh woke up shortly thereafter thinking how could this be possible when we only have two weeks until the next outreach. I layed there thinking and thinking until I was led to go to the computer to send out an e-mail.

This is what happened with that e-mail and some other conversation with some wonderful people. Within two days everything that we needed for the outreach was spoke for as to be paid for. (4 - 8' tables (brand new), 28 chairs (brand new), dishes (brand new), silverware (brand new), new large pots and pans, table clothes, a new gas grill and containers to keep everything in)

Along with this Eileen said that we needed to have dessert (pies) for them and that I should stop at United Pie and talk to them. I knew that they did not sell to the public and that they were a supplier to restaurants.
I went there and introduced myself, told them what the ministry was all about and we were given more pies that we could handle (we serve the God of more than enough), they asked if I had a place to store them and I said, "No."
The owner (Blanche) then said that a corner of their walk in freezer was ours and that we could come and get pies whenever we needed them. I then went to Dixie Cream and they said that any donuts that they have at the end of the day would be ours.
A bakery in Wakarusa called us last night and told us that they had 6 dozen for the outreach today. (Thank you Lance for picking them up) God is opening doors and supplying all of our needs just as HIS Word says. (Phil 4:19)

Anyway we were able to see all the vision rolled out today. It was very cold so we did not have the numbers that we usually have. We were able to still feed and minister to many. Some would not sit at the table because they were too cold.
They wanted to go back and get under the blankets and eat. At the end of the outreach I was speaking with a gentleman by the name of Don, his partner a short distance from him had only a piece of cardboard and one blanket. He never took the blanket off his head to talk to me but Don and I prayed and lifted this brother up too.
I can not stress enough how much we need sleeping bags (cold weather ones if possible) and heavy blankets. I do not see how Don's partner can stay alive with what he has. It was so cold!!!

I know without a doubt that we are doing what HE would have us do. There is no way that blessings are going to come the way they have without HIM!!!

Thanks again for all of you that helped make this possible and that make it possible for us to continue going to serve God's children. For those of you that have not been part of this and would like to we are still believing for monthly financial partners to join us.

The dates for March are the 11th and the 25th if you have donations or if you would like to make the trip with us.

Thanks so much Carlin and Jaime for the use of the 15 passenger van!!! It was an awesome blessing !!!

Thanks to the awesome team (15) that helped make everything happen today!!!!!!!!! (Lance and Leigh with their 5 kids, Tom from Bashor, Adam and Ashley from Bashor, Brian, Shaun, Michele, Steve & Jodi)

God Bless You All!!
